Benue State Commissioner Of Police Now Assistant Inspector General Of Police Decorates 14 Senior Officers

The Benue State Commissioner of Police, now an  Assistant Inspector General of police AIG Bartholomew N. Onyeka precided over a decoration ceremony of 14 senior officers in the command. The event which took place at the CP’s office was attended by high-ranking Police officers, family members and friends of the promotees.

 Acting on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, IGP. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun PhD, NPM

 decorated the following Officers; ACP. Omanulun James Ahiabe, former O/C Anti-Cult unit Makurdi, Chief Superintendents of Police CSP. Okechukwu Peter, DPO B Division Makurdi, CSP Zobbe Rotshak Godwin DPO Agatu, CSP Charles Kefas Gadzama, CSP Operations , CSP Solomon Shola Aremu, command protestant chaplain, CSP Fredrick Mombun Egar, command Catholic chaplain and CSP Ahmad M. Abubakar, command Muslim chaplain were also decorated  as well as DSP Ajikwa Paul, DSP Edem Ita, DSP Obe Sarah, DSP Isaiah Gbamwuan, DSP Ochai Joseph, DSP Jacob Stephen and DSP Helina Onah were decorated.

This  promotion is as a result of the Inspector General of Police recognition of their dedication and meritorious service of Nigeria Police Force.

During his address, the Assistant Inspector General of Police, who spoke on behalf of the IGP expressed his satisfaction with their work and emphasized the importance of their new ranks in contributing to the security and welfare of the people of Benue State. He encouraged them to continue to work diligently and maintain professionalism and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
